CONTACT US
  • A kitchen with white cabinets , stainless steel appliances , and wicker bar stools.

  • A kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a wooden counter top.

We build homes from 300 sf – 1000 sf. Our process is pretty simple and all of our on site primary builds are custom. Although we have multiple units that get built many times, every one of them is a little different and has its own style.

We have built many homes in Asheville and surrounding areas. We continue to grow and get better with each build. Our builds are high quality, luxury small scale and tiny homes that the client can work directly with our design team to create a plan that will manifest all of your desires in a home.

Primary homes can be used as long-term rentals, short-term rentals, or a home to live in full time. These homes are all high-quality and classy homes that will stand the test of time.

  • Is it better to buy a prefab tiny house, build one yourself, or get one built by a home builder?

Building a tiny house yourself is generally cheaper than getting one built by a company, assuming you have the necessary skills, experience, and time.  Building yourself can save on labor costs, which can be significant.   Unfortunately, DIYers often find that it takes way longer than they had anticipated and can create cracks in even the strongest marriages.

A prebuilt (prefab) on Amazon is the cheapest option and you get what you pay for. Buying a pre-built (pre-fab) tiny house does offer convenience and speed, as it can be ready in a matter of weeks or days, whereas building can take months or even years.

If you want your home to last and want it done right so that it won't blow away (remember the 3 little pigs?) hiring a home builder (like Nanostead) is definitely the smartest choice for your investment.

For example, some counties may classify tiny homes as RVs, which can limit their use as permanent residences. It's essential to check with local authorities to understand the specific guidelines for tiny homes in North Carolina.
