What do I need to hook up a tiny home?

Typically a 4 prong, 50 amp plug is what you will use for a power source. Keep your distance from the power supply as close as possible. Water is connected with a standard hose connection either through a potable water hose or buried water line with proper connections. Sewer can be tied and is just like an RV.

What is an ADU?

An ADU, or an Accessory Dwelling Unit, is a home that is built on your own property, not subdivided and used as a full-time rental or guest house.

Does a Tiny Home on Wheels have a bathroom?

Yes, a THOW has a bathroom. We usually leave the sink out of the bathroom to save on space. There is a sink in the kitchen.

Can a Tiny Home on Wheels be a permanent residence?

No, a THOW is considered a recreational Park Trailer. The state of North Carolina does not recognize these as permenant dwellings.

Can you get a Tiny House permitted?

Yes, you can permit a tiny house on a foundation. Your home can be as small as 250 square feet with a room no less than 120 square feet and a minimum ceiling height of 7 feet.
